Chic and unique, this home has been cleverly updated to function well and in style! Single storey (just a few steps at the front), it has a great flow all the way out to the beautifully landscaped garden and pool.
The front section of the house is dedicated to the bedrooms: the master with Queen bed, built-in wardrobe, overhead fan and air-conditioning, and a modern shower ensuite; the second a Queen with built-in wardrobes and desk and a ceiling fan; and the third a double with built-in robes. The latter leads to the study with custom joinery and a sofa. The family bathroom has a bathtub and separate shower, vanity and toilet. All linen is included.
The back of the house has been beautifully renovated with glass on all three sides inviting an abundance of natural light into the open plan living area. The kitchen is sleek but the artwork and furnishings add a warm rustic style. There are quirky mismatched stools at the kitchen benchtop and an antique 6-seater dining suite sits well with the modern lounge. The kitchen is well-equipped and includes a dishwasher and microwave, and the lounges face a wall-mounted smart TV. There is also a ceiling fan in the lounge so comfort and convenience come hand-in-hand.
Sliding doors open fully to the deck with its pergola-covered seating area, BBQ and large bean-bag sun lounger looking out to the garden and the sparkling solar-heated pool. The whole space is perfect for relaxing or entertaining.
Add in the washing machine and dryer, WiFi, parking and a superb location, and this house won’t be available for long!

Opposite the property, The Corso runs right to the sea at the rocky north end of Maroubra Beach. Here you can enjoy coffee at the Pool Cafe or the Grumpy Baker after a swim in either of two saltwater ocean pools. Follow the coastal paths to Maroubra Caves, a scenic spot from which you can watch the crashing waves below. Alternatively head south along Marine Parade and you’ll hit the beach. Kids will enjoy the Big Rubik’s Cube on the beach, and there is a surf school, playground and park to keep them entertained. South of Maroubra Beach is Malabar Headland, a great place if you enjoy a decent walk and spectacular views.
Plenty of eateries are dotted along Maroubra Beach and up McKeon Street, offering different cuisines to choose from. Another hub exists just 5 minutes’ drive or a 25 minute walk away at Maroubra itself, and Westfield Eastgardens is under 10 minutes’ drive away, offering a wide range of shops. Buses can take you to either from a minute’s walk from the house. Buses also run to Bondi Junction, offering more retail therapy and the train service, and into the City.
